Slam Dunk 2014

SDF_2014_THIRD_ANNOUNCE_WEBSITEThe UK’s biggest independent touring festival returns to Leeds on May 24th, Hatfield on May 25th and Wolverhampton on May 26th.

More bands have been added to the already impressive Slam Dunk Festival 2014 line-up, including Mallory Knox, Kids In Glass Houses, We The Kings, Chiodos, Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Capdown, Jesse James, Gnarwolves, MC Lars, Heart Of A Coward, Save Your Breath, Modern Baseball and GHOST TOWN.

These will joint the ranks among the likes of headliners All American Rejects, We Are The In Crowd, Decade, Canterbury, Less Than Jake, Motion City Soundtrack, Hit The Lights, State Champs, A Loss For Words, Chunk! No, Captain Chunk!, Marmozets and Blitz Kids.

Festival dates and venues

* Saturday, May 24

Slam Dunk Festival North: Leeds University.

* Sunday, May 25

Slam Dunk Festival South: The Forum Hertfordshire, Hatfield.

* Monday, May 26

Slam Dunk Festival Midlands: Wolverhampton Civic.

Kids In glass Houses who recently announced they would be calling it a day at the end of the year have been added to the line up and will exclusively be playing their début album Smart Casual in full, in what is set to be one of their last ever festival appearances.

We the kings will also be returning to the festival along with MC Lars who both promise to deliver fantastic sets.

The bill features a lot of ska-punk including  Goldfinger, Zebrahead and Less then Jake who will have just completed their most successful UK tour to date

In addition to a number of big name bands including All American rejects who will be making the trip exclusively for the festival , Blitz Kids will be back for the second year in a row, bringing songs from their recently released and much-acclaimed new album The Good Youth to the festival, having completed tours with All Time low, Lower Than Atlantis and Canterbury. .

Marmozets will be playing to support their highly anticipated début album.

Tickets are priced at £35, and £39 with after-show party across all sites.
